Porridge or Oatmeal
Cooked through the night and ready for an instant breaky. It is not recommended for quick minute varieties.
All you need is oatmeal (oats), water and salt:
1 cup of oatmeal to 3 cups of water and a teaspoon of salt. Mix to a good consistency and this will make 3 servings.
Cook and cover on low 8-9 hours.

Chilli Beans
500g minced steak browned
1 tablespoon flour
1 small onion, chopped
1 cup canned tomatoes
1/2 cup water
Pinch of thyme
salt and pepper
1/2 cup red kidney beans
1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
Place browned beef into crockpot. Sprinkle with flour. Add remaining ingredients and stir thoroughly. Cover and cook on low for 7-10 hours. Then high for 3-4 hours. Serves up great with buttered toast. Will serve 4-6.
